CRP is one of the good markers to differentiate between viral & bacterial infections.CRP also is “Most Studied & Explored” by medical researchers throughout globe, although several infl ammatory markers exist. In almost all laboratories, CRP test is conducted using serum sample i.e. after centrifugation in biochemistry analyzer. However, with technology advancement, instruments are available which can test CRP directly from whole blood.
