Her HABX 2021

About the event

The concept of HABX (Hematology Analyzer Based Xchanges) has always revolved around the exchange of scientific knowledge through “Haemocytomorphometry” series in the form of presentations and activities through events.

After multiple successful events on a national level, we decided to explore a different way of portraying knowledge by confining our boundaries on regional basis with special inputs from national speakers as well. For the northern region, we decided to praise the contribution of women pathologists in the field of hematology. Therefore, it was a subtle initiative of scientific team to conduct the event, with this year’s theme as “Her HABX”, a two-day scientific program, which was exclusively meant for women pathologists, as a small gesture to appreciate those who have contributed immeasurably to the subject of ‘Hematology’.

The event was initiated by the presidential address by Dr Rajeev Gautam; Corporate Officer, HORIBA Ltd., Japan; President, HORIBA India Pvt. Ltd.

Mentors of HABX

Mentoring is an important aspect of work life. Our mentors led the way for influencing our audience with their expertise and grip over their specializations. Here are a few glimpses from the event.

Expert Talk

Our mentors and many imminent speakers guided everyone through their Special Sessions which made this scientific event much more knowledgeable and interesting. Following are a few glimpses from the sessions of the event.

Since it was Her HABX, many prominent female speakers…#SHEMATOLOGISTS had presented their cases on various topics of RBCs, WBCs, and platelets which was then followed by panel discussions by our mentors.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Since long, celebration and acknowledgement of achievements has been a crucial part of our existence, which has helped to bring out the best in us.
Thus, for reigniting the passionate flame, HORIBA presented a lifetime achievement award to Dr. Neelam Verma for her contribution along the journey in the field of hematology.
